SentinelOne is redefining cybersecurity by leveraging AI-powered, data-driven innovation. They are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join their Field Sales team, responsible for selling advanced security solutions and engaging with customers to understand their requirements and lead technical presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Work with sales partner(s) to develop territory and account strategies and campaigns
- Understand customer requirements as they relate to security architectures across data center, cloud, and enterprise environments
- Track and document aspects of the sales cycle including elements that are the primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer
- Lead Proof of concept/value engagements
- Prepare and lead technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work
- Secure orders, guarantee product standards and assure product delivery
- Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective
- Active participant within the greater technical team sharing experience, best practices, etc
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience in real-world cyber security sales and/or consulting
- 7+ years of experience in the computer networking or security space, ideally in a pre-sales role
- Broad understanding of security solutions and technologies
- Ability to explain and demonstrate complex product/security solutions both technically and with senior leadership
- Superior communication skills including whiteboarding, public speaking and technical writing
- Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time with occasional spikes above 50%
- Operational or sales experiences with SaaS, Identity or Active Directory a plus
