The Associate Manager of Customer Insights will support the Manager in leveraging analytical techniques to deliver insights that drive business decisions, particularly focused on the Walmart/Sam’s Sales Team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data to assess trends, performance drivers and identify mutually beneficial growth opportunities for Walmart
- Develop deep knowledge of the Walmart/Sam’s shopper, the category, and customers via internal and external data analysis (Scintilla, syndicated data, trends reports, etc)
- Assist in developing recommendations to optimize assortments, shelf space allocation and merchandising
- Help create content, including PowerPoint slides, to support sales stories for line reviews and other key touchpoints with customers
- Participate in business reviews and support ad hoc analysis requests
- Create dashboards and reports to monitor category performance and report on KPIs
- This role can be remote, with travel to Bentonville required 6-8 times per year for meetings and events
- Upholds and demonstrates leadership in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities

Requirements:
- BA in business administration, marketing or related field
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and people skills
- High data aptitude with strong working knowledge in Customer POS and syndicated data
- 2-4 years of experience in Sales Analytics/Category Management
- 1-2 years direct experience on Walmart account
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with Scintilla (Charter preferred)
- Experience with Madrid (preferred)
