Supply Chain Resources Group, Inc. is a growing company headquartered in the U.S. that supports its customers’ product needs by providing specialized services in supply chain management. They are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, cultivate customer relationships, and manage the sales lifecycle, focusing on the manufacturing and supply chain sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry events
- Research and identify target customers
- Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to refine messaging and targeting strategies
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets in supply chain, electronics and other consumer hardware manufacturing and other related vertical
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers’ key decision makers, makers (HR leaders, operations managers, supply chain executives) by understanding their hiring needs and positioning tailored staffing solutions
- Create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to manufacturing and supply chain operations
- Conduct customer meetings (virtual and in-person), presentations, and negotiations to close deals
- Collaborate with internal recruiters, operations teams, and account managers to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market intelligence
- Utilize CRM (Zoho) tools to manage sales pipelines, track activities, and generate accurate forecasts and reports of sales performance and conversion metrics
- Using the CRM, manage contract administration, including coordination with finance, version control, execution tracking, and renewals
- Provide sales forecasting and pipeline reporting to senior leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering insights and best practices in talent acquisition and workforce solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, human resources, supply chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-6 years of experience in business development or sales within the staffing or recruiting industry
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Strong understanding of staffing services across contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire placements
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, (verbal and written), and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently without supervision
- Proficiency in CRM and ATS tools (e.g., Manatal, Zoho, etc.)
- Skilled with PC based computers and Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Very strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong knowledge of sales performance metrics and KPIs
- Keen ability to organize, digest and analyze and disseminate data appropriately
- Ability to collaborate across multiple groups including but not limited to customers, sales, management, finance, and third-party service providers
- Existing network or book of business within a specific industry vertical
- Experience selling both contingent and retained search services under search agreements and SOW contracts
- Familiarity with RFP/RFQ processes
- Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) or closely related experience is preferred
