OSP/Fiber Project Manager

FULLERTON is seeking an OSP/Fiber Project Manager who will be responsible for managing the scope of work, schedule, cost, and quality of projects. The role involves collaborating with various teams and ensuring project deliverables are met while maintaining communication with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the subject matter expert on the associated OSP projects
• Create a project schedule from given project parameters
• Ensure the project schedule is in line with the financial plan
• Review and create invoices for all billable items
• Partner with the Design Manager to create a staffing plan that is within budget
• Hold project scoping meetings to identify point of contacts for permitting, engineering, and construction
• Manage sub-contractors invoicing
• Report project progress internally and externally
• Attend all client meetings and provide updates
• Develop, monitor and measure quality and production metrics
• Indirectly lead teams of engineers and designers to achieve project milestones

Requirements:

• Self-motivated candidates who have a Bachelors degree in Engineering Technologies, GIS, CAD or similar, and/or equivalent work experience with design software
• Minimum 3 years of related OSP experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Advanced AutoCAD experience is recommended
• Experience in PLA (Pole Loading Analysis) software is recommended
• Must have professional level experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as Adobe Acrobat (pdf) and digital photographs (jpeg)
• Must be familiar with databases and the process of uploading and downloading data
• Must be a great communicator, both verbal and written
• Must be able to adapt to changes in scope of work and priority
• Must have a dedicated space for a home office with a reliable and fast internet connection for remote work
