Safal Partners is seeking a senior-level Project Manager to lead a large, high-visibility Texas education project. The Project Manager will ensure successful project delivery, build strong client relationships, and contribute to business development and organizational leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Lead full projects or portfolios, ensuring successful execution across all workstreams
- Develop strategic project approaches, methodologies, and frameworks
- Oversee all major deliverables and ensure alignment with client goals and organizational standards
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the project, including event planning, overseeing project activities, coordinating team members, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, critical milestones and key deliverables
- Serve as the primary client relationship manager
- Lead high-level presentations, briefings, and strategic discussions
- Identify opportunities for expanded support and long-term partnerships
- Supervise and mentor Managers, Associates, and Analysts
- Provide performance feedback and support professional development
- Contribute to internal initiatives, process improvements, and organizational strategy
- Lead proposal development, including technical strategy, pricing input, and partnership coordination
- Develop thought leadership, represent the organization externally, and support brand visibility
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Oversee project budgets, staffing, and resource planning
- Manage project risks and ensure compliance with organizational policies
- Support leadership in forecasting, planning, and operational decision-making
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in project management, education, or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant project management experience; experience in education or government projects preferred
- PMP certification is required
- Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet required
- Demonstrated experience managing project budgets
- Knowledge of education policies, regulations, and state or federal program requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
- Proven problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder groups
- Experience leading federal or Texas state‑funded education initiatives
- Experience managing large teams, multi‑partner projects, or complex cross‑functional workstreams
