This Opportunity
WSP is looking for a Hydrotechnical/ Water Resources/ Civil Engineer for our Wexford, PA office. The role provides modeling, assessments, mitigation design, and field support for the office. This may include hydrologic, hydraulic, fluvial geomorphic, and sediment transport analyses. Mitigation design typically includes structure design and routing for controlling erosion/scour and lateral migration through technical engineering design for the stream, riverine, and floodplain environment. The candidate must be comfortable with the use of technology in the practice of water resource modeling.
This position will include opportunities on a variety of projects for which the Wexford office supports, such as linear alignments for pipelines, transportation corridors, and infrastructure siting. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated education and experience in water resource modelling. This position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced team that provides solutions on hydrotechnical, civil, and geotechnical engineering projects. The work entails a variety of office-related and outdoor “hands-on” activities, with a need to carefully follow instructions, document activities, solve problems, and provide proactive communication.
