Job Purpose
The Senior Specialist, CMD, is responsible for leading the contracting companies engaged with Contractors Management Department to achieve the overall organizational objectives. The role ensures optimal execution of maintenance strategies, contractor compliance, cost control, and alignment with organizational goals to support reliable and efficient plant operations across the Phosphate BU.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and oversee maintenance plans, schedules, and work processes to ensure high equipment reliability and minimum downtime.
- Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to support smooth execution of maintenance activities.
- Manage and monitor the performance of maintenance contractors engaged under CMD.
- Resolve operational and contractual issues in alignment with company policies and performance expectations.
- Identify operational, safety, and contractual risks related to maintenance and contractor activities.
- Monitor maintenance expenditures and contractor billing to ensure cost‑effective resource utilization.
- Ensure all maintenance and contractor operations adhere to Maaden standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders to align maintenance priorities and contractor performance.
- Foster positive, professional relationships with contractors to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience & Competencies
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum Experience: Minimum 5–10 years of experience in plant maintenance or contractor management.
