They are seeking a Security Engineer responsible for assessing and designing security measures for facilities with special nuclear material, requiring a strong understanding of U.S. nuclear regulations and collaborative skills within a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities:

- Knowledge of 10 CFR 73 and 10 CFR 70, along with NRC Regulatory Guides and other regulatory guidance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or similar experience in technical exposure
- Familiarity with the capabilities various firearms, explosives and tactical equipment
- Experience with regulatory compliance
- Experience with national threat policy
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
- Eligible and able to maintain access to safeguards information
- Knowledge of 10 CFR 73 and 10 CFR 70, along with NRC Regulatory Guides and other regulatory guidance
- Precise communication skills, including the ability to communicate nuanced technical content in multiple forms
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly iterative startup environment

- Military or law enforcement experience
- Recent experience with demolition methods
- Experience with adversary analysis or 'red team planning'
- Experience as a force-on-force member or observer/controller
- Experience with tabletop and scenario development
- Familiarity with implementation of NIST control frameworks
