Novacel is a global manufacturing organization known for its highly technical coating and lamination capabilities. They are seeking a driven Outside Sales professional to grow a territory by winning new business and building strong, long-term partnerships with customers in a technical manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business through prospecting, field visits, networking, and market research
- Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through RFQ, pricing, negotiation, and close (3 months to 3 years)
- Conduct on-site customer meetings to understand applications and manufacturing processes
- Partner with engineering and operations to deliver customer-specific solutions
- Build long-term relationships with customers at all levels of the organization (50-60% travel)
- Maintain pipeline discipline and drive territory growth
Requirements:
- 5+ years of outside B2B sales / business development experience
- Background selling technical or engineered products required
- Proven hunter with strong closing skills and ability to develop new accounts
- Comfortable working with everyone from machine shop personnel to C-level executives
- Analytical, initiative-taker, and confident managing high-value customers
- Experience in manufacturing, equipment, chemical, printing, or industrial environments preferred
