The Business Analyst plays a critical role in translating business challenges into scalable automation solutions, partnering closely with clients and technical teams to ensure successful implementation of automation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead process discovery workshops with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities across operational workflows
- Document current-state processes using structured methodologies including process maps, decision trees, and data flow diagrams
- Analyze process variability, exception handling, and business rules to determine automation feasibility
- Identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and automation across enterprise workflows
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for automation development teams
- Create user stories, process definition documents (PDDs), and automation design inputs
- Define acceptance criteria and success metrics for automation implementations
- Ensure requirements are aligned with platform capabilities and overall solution architecture
- Collaborate with solution architects and developers to refine automation designs
- Provide business context to ensure automation workflows meet operational requirements
- Validate that proposed solutions align with governance, security, and compliance requirements
- Support the creation of scalable automation frameworks across enterprise environments
- Work closely with automation developers and QA teams throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Support testing activities including user acceptance testing (UAT), validation of automation outputs, and defect resolution
- Ensure automation solutions meet defined business requirements before production deployment
- Assist in developing operational documentation and user training materials
- Track automation outcomes against defined business KPIs such as efficiency gains, error reduction, and operational throughput
- Identify opportunities for additional automation and process optimization
- Support the development of enterprise automation roadmaps and pipeline prioritization
- Promote best practices in automation adoption across client organizations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of overall work experience including 4+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or automation initiatives within SaaS, consulting, or enterprise technology environments
- Professional proficiency in English
- Experience supporting automation platforms such as Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism, or similar RPA/AI solutions
- Strong experience in process mapping, requirements gathering, and stakeholder facilitation
- Familiarity with automation delivery methodologies including Agile or hybrid project environments
- Experience working with enterprise clients undergoing digital transformation initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to translate complex business processes into structured automation requirements
- Excellent stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation skills

- Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth technology environments
- Deep domain knowledge in at least one of the following process areas is strongly preferred: Finance Operations (AP, AR, Payroll, Financial Close), IT Service Management and internal operations (Helpdesk, incident triage, password resets) or Supply Chain & Procurement (P2P, order management, inventory, logistics)
