Miltenyi Biotec is a leader in biomedical research, and they are seeking an HR Business Partner to align business objectives with HR initiatives. The role involves acting as a strategic partner to implement HR programs and processes while collaborating with various departments to enhance employee engagement and retention.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and input on departmental or business restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning
- Collaborate with managers and L&D to identify needed training opportunities for employees with a focus on future skillsets
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including conducting proactive investigations and working with managers on conflict resolutions. Advise on disciplinary actions, as needed
- Partner with managers to create employee retention plans and proactively respond to voluntary termination trends to ensure that key talent is retained
- Support the employee performance evaluation process and partner with management to ensure that all employees are provided clear and consistent feedback on performance; provide performance improvement recommendations and/or training where growth opportunities exist for employees to develop additional job skills
- Ensure new hire success by partnering with managers to plan proper onboarding activities
- Work with managers on updating and revising jobs in order to maximize employee input toward company goals. Revise job descriptions and job titles, as needed
- Understand, recommend and implement Human Resources policies and procedures. Partner with employees and management to communicate these policies, procedures as well as laws, standards and government regulations
- Partner with Talent Acquisition team to ensure that the right talent is being interviewed and integrated correctly into the organization
- Work in collaboration with all parts of the Human Resources team to integrate and deliver outstanding HR services to the business
- Influence and guide change throughout the organization. Coach managers to be more effective people leaders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (required) or master's degree (preferred) in business, human resources, or a related degree
- a minimum of 5 years of progressive and relevant experience in human resources
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal, across all levels of the organization
- Able to influence leaders to arrive at the correct conclusion
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate change
