The Restaurant Supervisor will play a key role in supervising daily activities, leading team members, and ensuring that high standards of customer service, food quality, and cleanliness are maintained consistently.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor team members to ensure adherence to service standards and company policies
- Supervise guest service to ensure a positive dining experience, being attentive to guest signals and needs
- Assist the management team in establishing and monitoring sidework duties to ensure operational efficiency
- Review daily communication sheets from the previous shift and prepare reports for the upcoming shift to facilitate smooth communication
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization, including checking tables, dining areas, and kitchen stations for cleanliness and proper setup
- Provide clear and effective verbal and written communication to staff for task delegation and operational updates
- Ensure consistent compliance with attendance policies and be available to work on a regular basis
- Support the implementation of safety and sanitation standards to maintain a healthy environment for staff and guests
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support restaurant operations and team development
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality certifications are a plus
