Vice President of Product Engineering, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $400,000/year USD

Crossover is a company focused on transforming education through AI-driven solutions. They are seeking a Vice President of Product Engineering to lead the technical direction and architecture of their AI-powered learning platform, ensuring streamlined and scalable products that enhance student outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivating and applying comprehensive education product knowledge to inform strategic choices
• Creating technical specifications that establish key technical decisions while emphasizing simplicity, operational efficiency, and sustainable design
• Deploying generative AI capabilities to automate and optimize engineering workflows, consistent with the overarching goal of minimizing manual effort
• Serve as the CTO for one or more education products, commanding core capabilities and generating business value through flawless execution and strategic leadership

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience driving critical architecture and design decisions on software projects, including the application of architecture design patterns or major open source technologies
• 2+ years of experience making design decisions involving the use of cloud computing services (primarily AWS)
• 4+ years of experience in roles with complete technical and delivery ownership on a revenue-generating product
• Experience using AI agents to design, implement, and test software products or features
