IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences. The Business Development Manager will drive strategic growth and operational excellence through compliance, commercial strategy, and customer engagement to ensure resilience for the future.
Responsibilities:
- Drive profitable sales growth at global and regional key accounts for assigned product lines
- Develop and onboard new customers within your defined area
- Act as a technical and commercial expert for specialty Inclusions products and their applications
- Define and execute strategies for global and regional key accounts regarding the Taura portfolio
- Support regional sales teams in implementing Food Ingredients the Inclusions Business Development strategy
- Identify white space opportunities and commercialize new innovations
- Manage complex customer projects involving cost, pricing, regulatory, and compliance aspects
- Lead cross-functional teams to design tailored solutions for customers
- Build strong relationships by visiting key and high-potential accounts as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the food or specialty ingredients industry
- Strong technical and commercial understanding of product applications
- Ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams
- Strategic thinker with a track record of identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working in a global, matrixed organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to travel as required for customer engagement
- Ability to work well in a team environment including cross functional support, ideation and strategy building
- Experience with specialty inclusions or similar product categories
- Demonstrated success in growing key accounts on a global scale
- Background in both technical and commercial roles, bridging R&D and sales
- Ability to grow customer base by bringing on new customers
