Rep2x is building the verification layer for sales talent, aiming to become the global standard for sales hiring verification. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for introducing Rep2x to sales leaders and booking qualified meetings with decision-makers to improve their sales hiring process.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and research target accounts (sales leaders, founders, and hiring managers)
- Conduct outbound outreach via cold calls, email, and LinkedIn
- Start conversations with prospects about improving their sales hiring process
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team
- Maintain accurate records of activity in the CRM
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership to refine messaging and targeting
- Continuously improve outreach strategies through experimentation and feedback
Requirements:
- 0-3 years of experience in a sales, SDR, or BDR role (or equivalent outbound experience)
- Comfortable with cold calling and outbound prospecting
- Strong communication and listening skills
- High level of resilience and coachability
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience selling SaaS or sales technology
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Experience using sales engagement tools (Outreach, Apollo, Seamless)
