Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Director to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive national management system across 12 facilities within the U.S. This role will be responsible for setting and maintaining standards, implementing consistent policies, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement across the enterprise.
The Senior Director will also oversee enterprise product certification processes, product drawing change request process, continuous improvement, manage inbound raw material quality from overseas vendors for various materials, and champion the integration of technology and artificial intelligence to enhance systems.

Job Responsibilities
Technology & Innovation
- Lead the adoption of digital tools, automation, and artificial intelligence to improve monitoring and detection.
- Evaluate and implement smart inspection systems, predictive analytics, and machine learning models to enhance operational efficiency.
Organizational Design
- Provide suggestions on Quality Management systems for Masonry, Hardscapes, and Below Grade infrastructure solutions such as Water and Communications.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting systems to track performance across facilities.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, highlighting areas of risk and opportunity.
- Ensure timely resolution of quality issues and customer complaints.
Process Control and Consistency
- Evaluate various Oldcastle processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and yield.
- Analyze process variables to achieve optimal conditions.
- Conduct root-cause analyses for yield issues.
- Implement process control strategies including SPC, capability analysis, and parameter windows.
Equipment & Tooling Support
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to adjust or upgrade dies, calibrators, and cutting tools.
- Support equipment trials, new die commissioning, and introduction of new profiles or formulations.
- Evaluate tooling performance and recommend enhancements to improve durability, consistency, and safety.
Testing, Certification & Compliance
- Oversee product testing protocols and ensure all products meet required certifications and regulatory standards.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for compliance with domestic and international quality regulations.
Inbound Material Quality
- Manage quality assurance for inbound raw materials, particularly from overseas vendors.
- Develop vendor quality scorecards and conduct regular supplier audits to ensure material consistency and reliability.
Continuous Improvement
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to reduce defects and improve product consistency.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, highlighting areas of risk and opportunity.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Product Development teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to reduce defects and improve product consistency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related field (master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control or assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing multi-site programs, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of management systems, standards (e.g., ISO), and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with AI-driven quality tools, digital inspection systems, and data analytics platforms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel to facilities across the U.S.
- Ability to travel up to 50% annually.
