Purpose of Position:
The Real Estate Manager leads site selection, lease negotiation, and portfolio management activities that support the company’s continued growth. This role partners with internal leadership, brokers, and third-party property management partners to identify new locations, negotiate favorable lease terms, and oversee facility development.
Success in this role requires strong ownership, communication, and decision making to ensure locations meet operational requirements, leases are executed efficiently, and real estate investments support the organization’s long-term strategy.
Key Role Accountabilities:
• Lead site selection for new locations by evaluating market demographics, geographic positioning, and operational requirements to support expansion strategy
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers and industry partners to develop a strong pipeline of real estate opportunities
• Negotiate and execute lease agreements while managing key financial terms, including cost per square foot
• Manage lease documentation, renewals, and critical milestones across the company’s real estate portfolio
• Coordinate facility development, relocations, and buildouts with internal teams and external vendors while maintaining project timelines and budgets
• Provide leadership with reporting and insights on portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities; travel up to 30% to support site selection and site oversight
Must-Have/Preferred Requirements:
• Degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in real estate management, site selection, or lease administration
• Working knowledge of property regulations and commercial lease structures
• Experience coordinating construction projects, facility buildouts, or relocations
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, growing organization
