Role Overview

Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Power BI Report Builder (Paginated Reports) to build reporting solutions on archived enterprise data stored in AWS S3, Postgres, Oracle and other legacy data assets. This role involves developing pixel-perfect paginated reports, creating Power BI visual dashboards, and ensuring high‑quality data insights for audit, compliance, operational, and historical analytics while adhering to enterprise data governance standards.

Experience with additional BI tools such as TIBCO Spotfire, Qlik Sense, or Amazon QuickSight is a strong plus.

What will you do in this role

• Development and implementation of Business Intelligence(BI) solutions to meet the organization's data analysis and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and understand their data and reporting needs.
• Design, build, and deliver self-service paginated reports (RDL) optimized for large historical datasets.
• Create drill‑down, drill‑through, parameterized, and export-ready reports (PDF, Excel, CSV).
• Implement scalable reporting solutions for audit, regulatory, and archival use cases.
• Build interactive Power BI dashboards as needed to complement paginated reports.
• Develop semantic models, DAX calculations, KPIs, and advanced visualizations.
• Enable business users with actionable insights from large-scale historical datasets.
• Publish and manage reports on Power BI Service or Power BI Report Server.
• Configure gateways for hybrid connections.
• Monitor refresh schedules, performance, and capacity usage.
• Maintain audit trails, documentation, and lineage for all reporting artifacts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data integration, data quality, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Spotfire, Qlik Sense, or QuickSight is a strong plus.

What should you have

Primary Skill: Power BI, Spotfire, Qliksense, or QuickSight & SQL

 Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or any related field.

2-5 years’ experience in BI development and data analysis, including hands-on experience with BI tools and technologies such Power BI, Spotfire, Qliksense, or QuickSight

Proficient in SQL, data modelling, and database design concepts.

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and architectures.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide and mentor a team of developers.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in English.
