Item Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

As an Item Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities and main tasks:

• Enrichment of locally purchased products into deliverable products for AP and CN region projects
• Acting as a key contact for suppliers in technical matters
• Maintaining key data in PDM (Aton)
• Working in cooperation with production planners and project coordinators to ensure on-time deliveries to internal and external customers
• Acting as a substitute for the production planner and supporting in the implementation of LN

Candidate Profile:

To be successful in this position, you should have:

• A technical education (preferably Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation)
• Experience and knowledge in PDM (Aton) systems and ERP (LN) is preferred
• Good knowledge of operational delivery processes (engineering, procurement, logistics, and manufacturing)
• Strong background in automation products is an asset
• A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
• A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly and promptly, follow up on issues until resolution, and effectively utilize collocated resources, other offices, or consult Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) when required
• Good hindsight skills to identify learning needs, draw lessons from past issues, and implement best practices
• Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Teams is must.
• Fluent oral and written English skills; other languages are an advantage

Job Location:

• Currently based in Navi Mumbai, with the possibility of transfer across India
• The office is planned to move to Pune within 6–8 months; candidates must be ready for relocation
• You will be reporting to the Manager of AS India Supply Center
