TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, and they are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their growing team. The role involves reconnecting with customers to guide them through renewal options and support their service needs.
Responsibilities:
- Reach out to customers with expired service agreements, warranties, or software assurance
- Clearly explain service entitlements, pricing, and renewal options
- Prepare accurate quotes and guide customers through renewal decisions
- Manage a pipeline of renewal opportunities and meet revenue goals
- Keep CRM and service systems updated with customer interactions
- Maintain organized communication and track renewal data using Excel
- Continue learning product and service offerings to support customer conversations
Requirements:
- Must live within 1 hour of Rochester, NY for training & quarterly onsite meetings
- Strong phone presence and excellent communication skills
- Customer service experience with confidence in explaining and negotiating service options
- Ability to quickly learn product knowledge (document scanners, software, support services)
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office—especially Excel
- Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce is a plus
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently
