Alpha Management Partners is a full-service real estate and property management company known for its expertise in Class A multifamily communities. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to generate and close new property management opportunities, focusing on multifamily and lease-up communities while working closely with leadership to enhance market positioning.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full business development lifecycle for new multifamily management opportunities
- Identify and pursue ground-up developments, lease-ups, and newer Class A properties
- Build and leverage an existing network of developers, owners, and industry contacts
- Develop pitch decks, proposals, and presentation materials
- Lead in-person and virtual pitches and negotiations
- Close new management agreements and grow Alpha’s client portfolio
- Work closely with company leadership to help establish a repeatable BD process
- Operate autonomously with clear accountability for results
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of relevant experience
- Direct experience in multifamily property management (non‑negotiable)
- Proven success as a closer in business development or a similar sales role
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Active professional network within the multifamily industry
- Experience competing with large third‑party management firms
- Background pitching ground‑up developments or lease‑up communities
- Student housing property management or business development experience
- Experience helping build or scale a sales or business development function
