Fernhill Capital is seeking a Vice President of Project Management to lead their project management strategy and team. This role involves overseeing the successful delivery of corporate projects, managing the Project Management Office (PMO), and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate the company's overall project management strategy and framework
- Establish and refine the project governance system
- Champion project management best practices and standardized processes
- Establish or manage the corporate Project Management Office (PMO)
- Oversee key corporate strategic projects
- Manage the project portfolio
- Ensure project alignment with corporate strategic objectives
- Optimize project prioritization and resource allocation
- Lead the project management team, including:
- Director of Project Management
- Senior Project Manager
- Project Manager
- Build a high-performance project management team
- Develop talent development and career progression plans
- Monitor the progress, budget, and quality of key projects
- Identify and manage project risks
- Resolve major project issues or escalated matters
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and achieve intended outcomes
- Collaborate closely with the following departments:
- Product Management
- Engineering / R&D
- Operations
- Sales & Marketing
- Finance
- Ensure smooth project execution and support for business objectives
- Establish a project performance evaluation framework
- Report project progress to the senior management team
- Monitor key project metrics, such as:
- Project success rate
- On-time delivery rate
- Project budget control
- Project resource utilization rate
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Major in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
- 20+ years of project management experience
- 10+ years of team management experience
- Experience managing large, complex project portfolios
- Experience managing cross-functional or cross-regional projects
- Project portfolio management capabilities
- Project governance and process design capabilities
- Execution capabilities for large-scale projects
- Strategic planning capabilities
- Team leadership and talent development capabilities
- Risk management and decision-making capabilities
- MBA or relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP)
