The Senior Product Marketing Manager will drive product marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment between technical and go-to-market teams while translating technical capabilities into effective market narratives.
Responsibilities:
- Ramp up quickly on the product, our audience, and the market landscape
- Build trust with the GTM and EPD teams
- Identify clear product marketing gaps and quick wins
- Establish clearly defined messaging frameworks
- Take the lead on product releases and launches
- Create and deliver sales enablement assets
- Establish strong operating rhythm with GTM and EPD teams
- Make product launches and releases repeatable and predictable
- Drive high-impact initiatives that directly influence pipe generation and deal velocity
- Partner closely with Demand Generation and DevRel on high-impact campaigns
- Clearly attribute activities to revenue impact
- Shape GTM strategy
- Raise the bar for PMM across the organization
Requirements:
- 5+ years of work experience in product marketing, developer marketing, product management, or related technical marketing roles in a B2B enterprise setting
- Strong familiarity with developer tools and modern developer workflows, with a deep interest in AI-driven software development
- Proven ownership of end-to-end technical product launches, spanning positioning, field enablement, and launch execution
- Demonstrated ability to partner closely with technical teams to define what sets Sourcegraph apart and translate that differentiation into clear, credible, and memorable stories across channels
- Experience supporting enterprise sales motions and navigating complex buying cycles
- Strong sales enablement muscle, building and maintaining high-impact collateral and assets that scale and move enterprise deals forward
- Experience delivering integrated campaigns in partnership with Demand Generation, Field Marketing, and DevRel across webinars, videos, web content, and events
- Customer-first mindset, translating real customer feedback into messaging, positioning, and product direction
- Strong technical aptitude, with a deep understanding of how modern software is built, shipped, and adopted
- Bias toward action, moving quickly and putting bold ideas into motion
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Background in software engineering or software development
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) in enterprise or strategic account motions
