Accenture is a company focused on transforming infrastructure and capital projects. In this role, you will develop detailed cost plans, prepare cost estimates, and manage project documentation to ensure successful project execution and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- You'll develop detailed cost plans in collaboration with clients, considering site layout, conditions, and constraints
- You'll prepare and present cost estimates, high-level cost advice, and budget updates to senior leadership
- You'll drive value engineering efforts and provide strategic cost insights to support decision-making
- You'll manage RFP documentation and oversee both pre- and post-contract processes
- You'll perform bid evaluations, cost negotiations, and maintain quality assurance across team deliverables
- You'll liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
- You'll prepare and maintain reports, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other key project documents
- You'll coordinate and update the project risk register and record design changes impacting budgets
- You'll lead client meetings, monitor internal resource allocation, and ensure follow-through on meeting actions
- You'll review landlord leases for compliance with client requirements and advise on strategic improvements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost estimating
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Proficient in the use of advanced functions in CostX to produce estimates, bills, etc
- Knowledge of relevant construction technologies and trends (Sustainability) to assist with appropriate options and cost implications
- Post Contract Administration skills
- Project Close out skills
- Ideally worked with data centers or similar mission critical projects
- MRICS status preferred
- Team player skills with the ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
