Digital Content Specialist

As Digital Content Specialist, you will be responsible for architecting a seamless and high-converting shopping experience by producing high-impact digital assets across our entire ecosystem. From designing high-performance advertising content for Meta, Google, and YouTube to crafting persuasive banners for our website and external marketplaces, you will ensure every touchpoint is visually compelling and data-driven. You will work at the intersection of creativity and commerce—optimizing product storytelling, enhancing SEO discovery, and delivering a personal, omnichannel experience that aligns with our brand’s message and drives our audience to action.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Multi-Channel Content Creation & Advertising 

• Paid Media Assets: I design and produce high-performing advertising content (dynamic content: video, animated, motion graphics; static, graphic design, illustrations) specifically tailored for, but not limited to, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Display, and YouTube. 
• Social Commerce: I create engaging content for other social platforms to ensure brand consistency and high engagement. 
• Promotional Banners: I lead the creation of banners for the Decathlon Website and App, as well as external marketplaces (e.g., Lazada, Shopee) to support various campaigns, seasonal promos, and product launches. Product Experience & Discovery I oversee the local dialogue with sports enthusiasts through every stage of their journey. 
• SEO & Discovery: I identify high-intent keywords and analyze ranking results in collaboration with the Digital Traffic Manager. 
• Rich Content: I optimize "my sport" through rich product detail pages (PDPs), providing unique selling points (USPs), technical specs, and "How to Choose" guides. 
• Educational Content: I support the creation of sports advice articles to improve organic discovery across all digital channels through articles, blogs, copywriting, captions. 

Media Governance & Optimization 

• Asset Management: I master the use of PixL search and upload tools (naming charters, upload processes, etc.). 
• Legal & Compliance: I ensure all media complies with local regulations, including image rights, agency contracts, and expiration dates. 
• Local Adaptation: I adapt global sports imagery to align with local sports policies and cultural nuances. 

What You Need to Succeed

• Creative! We’re looking for someone who can think outside the box. 
• Creative Production & Design. Proficient in creating high-converting visual assets for Meta Ads (1:1 and 9:16), Google Display, and YouTube.
• Digitally savvy! Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or Canva Pro is an advantage. Skill in designing mobile-first banners for online shopping platforms a plus. 
• Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of local advertising laws, image licensing, and data privacy (GDPR/Local Privacy Acts).
• Entrepreneurial mindset: ability to build projects, processes, governance; etc from scratch.
• Adaptability and clear prioritization skills with the ability to work under pressure (management of a moving agenda, complex ranking of priorities).
• Very rigorous, proactive, well-organized and autonomous with excellent attention to detail.
• A great communicator – excellent written and verbal communication (English), with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to different stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker - able to develop and consider the strategic implications of any kind of decision, with a holistic view.
• Collaborative! has the ability to work with a team while still understanding their role enough to work independently and/or autonomously.
• Analytical! Data-driven and has the ability to debrief the performance of the content and make use of the data available to provide action plan
