The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best-of-breed technology to the government.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Administrative Services Manager II to join our team!
The Administrative Services Manager II is responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple administrative support functions to ensure efficient organizational operations. This mid-level management role supervises services such as records and information management, mail distribution, facilities planning and maintenance, custodial operations, and other office support activities. The Administrative Services Manager II works closely with organizational leadership to improve administrative processes, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain effective support services across departments.
Key Responsibilities:· Oversee the daily operations of administrative service functions including records management, mail distribution, facilities coordination, and office support services.· Plan and coordinate facility-related activities such as space planning, maintenance scheduling, and workplace logistics.· Supervise administrative support staff and ensure services are delivered efficiently and in accordance with organizational standards.· Manage records and information systems to ensure proper documentation, storage, and retrieval of organizational records.· Develop and implement administrative procedures and policies to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.· Monitor administrative service performance and recommend improvements to processes and workflows.· Assist in developing and managing budgets related to administrative services, facilities, and support operations.· Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure administrative and facility needs are met.· Prepare reports and provide updates to senior management on administrative operations and service performance.· Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety regulations, and operational standards.
Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field.· 4–6 years of experience in administrative services, facilities management, office operations, or a related field.· Experience supervising staff and coordinating multiple administrative functions.· Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.· Proficiency in office management systems and standard business software.
