Carpet City Flooring Center is Wisconsin's largest family-owned flooring retailer, dedicated to quality and customer service. They are seeking a motivated Commercial Sales Representative to drive new business development and build long-term relationships with customers in both commercial and residential sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively prospect and develop new commercial and residential accounts through calls, visits, networking, and follow-ups
- Conduct daily outreach activities to generate new business opportunities
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and non-converted leads every 60 days to nurture relationships and maximize conversion potential
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Conduct follow-ups with existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upcoming project opportunities
- Attend industry events and professional organization gatherings to expand the company's network and generate leads
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process and project lifecycle
- Prepare accurate estimates using take-offs, blueprints, or on-site measurements
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients during all project stages, including initial consultation, sales, installation, and follow-up
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by managing expectations and delivering quality service throughout the process
- Promptly and professionally resolve customer questions or concerns
- Document all sales activities, communications, and follow-ups in the CRM system
- Provide management with regular updates on customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions
