Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 5 years with advanced degree.
- Experience in the consumer electronics, auto, OEMs, telecom, e-commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with external partners and developer ecosystems.
- Experience using investigative insight and employing thoughtful structures to solve problems and communicate solutions.
- Experience in AI (Artificial Intelligence).
- Ability to escalate and present key issues and recommendations to executive leadership when appropriate.
- Excellent people management and communication skills to formulate and articulate business, product, and technical concepts to partners as well as to various internal Google teams.

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.
In this role, you will work on the full issue spectrum to support Google's Core platform, including enabling safe and frictionless sign-in and agentic experiences across first-parties and third-parties, unlocking personalized experiences across the Google ecosystem, and mitigating emerging AI privacy, safety, and security risks. You will be responsible for managing critical partnerships, identifying product-enabling partnerships, defining go-to-market strategies and ecosystem adoption, and securing agreements for Core AI products or research. You will work very closely with products to build a connected and cohesive ecosystem across Core AI products and platforms.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$204,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Advance and accelerate partner ecosystems for Core AI workstreams related to AI, Identity and Privacy, Safety and Security products.
- Partner with Product teams to design go-to-market strategies and developer adoption programs that drive platform growth.
- Lead product and research partnerships from initial strategy and discussion through to final execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal) and global leads to ensure seamless execution of key initiatives.
