Data Analytics - Business Solutions Group - Associate

Morgan Stanley's Business Solutions Group (BSG) focuses on cross-business transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and data enablement. The Associate role involves developing analytical capabilities, supporting data-driven transformation initiatives, and enabling automation and advanced analytics across various workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Support high quality, multi-workstream engagements within ISG including front office, risk, finance, operations and technology
• Design analytical frameworks to evaluate automation opportunities, operational efficiency improvements, and process performance
• Support the development of advanced analytics solutions including predictive models, workflow automation, and AI-enabled decision tools
• Partner with business, technology, and operations teams to translate business requirements into data and analytical solutions
• Conduct quantitative analysis on large financial and operational datasets to identify insights and efficiency opportunities
• Support the design and implementation of data architectures that enable advanced analytics and automation capabilities
• Contribute to the development of internal data products and dashboards that enhance transparency and decision-making
• Assist with implementation planning and monitoring of transformation initiatives, ensuring analytical insights translate into measurable improvements
• Document analytical methodologies, data sources, and transformation initiatives to ensure transparency and reproducibility
