Vertu Motors plc is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Fleet Business Development Manager to join their team at VansDirect. The role involves managing and developing key accounts within the fleet sector, providing tailored vehicle solutions to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Seek, manage and grow a portfolio of fleet customers, providing tailored LCV solutions
- Identify new business opportunities within the fleet sector and convert them into long-term partnerships
- Build strong relationships with both new and existing clients to understand their vehicle needs and provide customised solutions
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Work closely with the internal team to ensure seamless delivery of vehicles and services to customers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product knowledge
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and detailed quotes to customers
- Regularly report on sales performance, forecasts, and customer feedback
Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B sales within the LCV industry
- Strong understanding of fleet sales and LCV products
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- A valid driving licence
