The Customer Service Rep - Tax (Seasonal, Remote) role involves providing exceptional customer support, handling inquiries related to tax products and services, and ensuring a positive experience for customers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide inbound customer support using established call flow guides, ensuring a positive experience for each caller
- Assist customers in resolving basic technical issues related to tax products and services
- Maintain accurate records by tracking, documenting, and retrieving information within company databases
- Identify opportunities to offer additional products or services that may benefit the customer
- Deliver expert customer service with professionalism, patience, and a genuine desire to help, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
Requirements:
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Quiet, distraction-free workspace at home
- Proficiency in computer navigation and multitasking abilities
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving processes
- Desktop or laptop computer (Windows 11+)
- At least 8GB RAM
- Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (DSL, cable, or fiber with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload)
- Must reside within the United States and have a valid U.S. address
- Smartphone for certain tasks
