HiTHIUM Energy Storage is revolutionizing the energy sector with innovative BESS manufacturing. The Service Operations Engineer will support commissioning and maintenance services, coordinate field operations, manage vendors, and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage commissioning and maintenance requests from initiation to completion. Review project scope and technical requirements, coordinate remote and on-site service activities, and track milestones to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of contractual commitments
- Coordinate and dispatch third-party service crews based on project needs and geographic location. Evaluate vendor capability, cost, and compliance qualifications, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and monitor vendor performance to support continuous improvement
- Support service RFP processes and review vendor quotations. Optimize labor allocation and service planning to control costs, while monitoring actual service hours and expenses against approved budgets
- Manage service tickets through internal systems to ensure visibility and traceability. Track response and resolution progress against contractual requirements, maintain proper documentation, and escalate critical issues when necessary
- Collect operational data from commissioning and maintenance activities, including labor hours, response times, and resolution outcomes. Maintain service records and generate periodic reports to support performance tracking and process improvements
- Serve as a communication bridge between customers, EPC contractors, internal engineering teams, and vendors. Participate in coordination meetings, support service-related contract matters, and proactively address operational risks and customer concerns
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in service operations; experience in BESS or power systems is preferred
- Demonstrated experience coordinating third-party service vendors across multiple regions
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong organizational and remote coordination skills
- Proficiency in service ticketing systems, ERP/CRM platforms, and Excel-based reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
