Cookwise.ai is a company that offers a personal cooking companion app designed to enhance meal planning and cooking experiences. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding the market presence, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international markets
- Partnership Development: Establish and nurture relationships with distributors, retailers, and strategic partners
- Sales Strategy: Design and implement business development plans aligned with Cookwise’s growth objectives
- Revenue Growth: Drive sales performance and achieve quarterly and annual targets
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform strategy
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives
- Brand Representation: Represent Cookwise at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (FMCG, consumer goods, or food-tech industry experience is a plus)
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies
- Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for food innovation and sustainability
- MBA preferred
- FMCG, consumer goods, or food-tech industry experience is a plus
