Field Service Engineer \- Great Lakes Area \- Cleveland or Upper PA or South Bend IN area

Military Technical Recruiting, LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a remote position with a global leader in materials testing technology. The role involves traveling nationwide to install, calibrate, and support precision testing equipment across diverse industries.

Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair testing systems including drop-weight towers, torsion systems, temperature chambers, and medical testing equipment
• Calibrate equipment to applicable standards and prepare ISO/IEC 17025-compliant calibration reports
• Troubleshoot electronic and electro-mechanical devices using schematic and mechanical drawings
• Train customers on operation and software of machines
• Coordinate with the service scheduler to execute assignments efficiently across nationwide territory (90% or more travel)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent hands-on experience
• Eligibility to meet A2LA and ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Prior experience with universal destructive testing machines and/or technical metrology/calibration highly desired
