Rust Software Engineer - Dragonfly Portfolio

Dragonfly is a crypto-native Venture Capital and research firm with a focus on connecting talented candidates to actively hiring teams within their portfolio. They are seeking Rust Software Engineers to build and scale high-performance distributed backend systems, focusing on low-latency APIs and blockchain infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Scaling infrastructure to handle millions of users and transactions
• Building low-latency APIs to support DeFi protocols, exchanges, and blockchain analytics
• Designing reliable backend systems for blockchain nodes, staking, or validator setups
• Automating deployments and infrastructure management using modern tooling
• Collaborating closely with protocol, frontend, and product teams

Requirements:

• Experience building and scaling high-performance distributed backend systems
• Proficiency in languages like Rust, Go, Java, or Python
• Knowledge of low-latency APIs, databases, or large-scale distributed systems
• Interest or experience in crypto, blockchain infrastructure, DeFi/CeFi platforms, or trading systems
