OOCL is one of the world's largest integrated international container transportation, logistics and terminal companies. They are seeking an Account Executive in the Marketing & Sales department to drive business development, enhance customer relations, and execute sales plans to grow revenue and customer value.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new opportunities, maintain, and improve the value of existing business, and grow positive customer relations
- Create, execute, and deliver continuous improvement of the business plan with focus toward growing revenue, contribution, and customer value
- Develop strategies, collaborate with prospective customers, and work with cross functional teams to establish a quality business relationship
- Adhere to and role model OOCL competition compliance polices & procedures in all business activities
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of industry sales experience (ocean transportation, steamship industry)
- Required Travel: 25%, or as needed to cover the sales territory
- A valid driver's license and vehicle is required as this is an outside sales position
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint
- Organized, planner, ability to prioritize
- Ability to listen and help navigate sales
- Adaptable with effective written and oral communication
- Negotiation and interpersonal skills
