Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing complex scientific equipment at various customer sites
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Performing equipment calibrations
- Conducting preventive maintenance
- Providing technical support to ensure optimal system functionality
- Training end-users
- Documenting service activities
- Working closely with technical teams to resolve complex problems and improve service delivery
Requirements:
- Technical skills in equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Proficiency in working with scientific instruments and understanding their functionality
- Strong communication skills to provide clear technical support and training to clients
- Organizational skills for managing service schedules, documenting tasks, and prioritizing workload
- Relevant education and/or hands-on experience in Engineering, Physics, or related technical disciplines
- Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to varying client requirements
- Working knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to quality standards is a plus
- Knowledge of computer hardware/software and networking is beneficial
