The IT Field Engineer is responsible for implementing new technology to meet clients' business objectives, maintaining strong technical relationships, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical expert for assigned clients by maintaining strong technical relationships, ensuring documentation and environments align with Thriveon best practices
- Complete 90% or more of assigned client onboarding and offboarding projects on time and within budget by following defined project workplans and staying within scope
- Respond to client change requests on a first in first out / priority basis. All requests responded to same day
- Understand the change, client business impact and client documentation resolving within 60 minutes to client satisfaction and root cause 95+% of the time
- Update ticketing system with troubleshooting/resolution notes and documentation portal with changes
- Implement alignment initiatives as directed by the CIO
- Maintain existing Thriveon standardization and provide input to standardization team to prevent issues
- Maintain up-to-date Time Entries and Expenses for billing purposes, accounting for a 40-hour week
- Participate in daily huddles and weekly meetings, on call rotation, and occasional on sites
- Complete 1 hour of continuing education per week to improve job skills

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within relevant IT field
- Experience with Microsoft servers, Office 365, Azure and VMware environments
- Experience with server and network infrastructure
- Experience with PowerShell scripting
- Knowledge of small to mid-size business IT systems
- Detailed oriented with strong documentation skills
- Effectively communicate in a non-technical way to clients
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information sciences, or related field preferred
