CloudOne Digital is a company focused on strategic revenue growth, and they are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to identify and develop new business opportunities. The BDR will work closely with Sales and Marketing to shape outbound strategies and ensure high-quality opportunities are advanced through the sales funnel.
Responsibilities:
- Strategically identify, research, and evaluate prospective clients and market segments aligned with company growth initiatives
- Exercise independent judgment to qualify opportunities based on business need, buying signals, and alignment with the ideal customer profile
- Develop outreach strategies and engagement approaches tailored to prospect needs and business context
- Conduct consultative prospect conversations to understand organizational challenges and position appropriate solutions
- Advance qualified opportunities by coordinating discovery meetings, demonstrations, or strategic conversations with Sales leadership
- Analyze outreach effectiveness, pipeline health, and conversion trends to provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and insights within CRM systems to support forecasting and strategic planning
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to refine messaging, targeting strategies, and go-to-market alignment
- Provide regular strategic updates to leadership regarding market feedback, opportunity quality, and emerging trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a consultative client-facing role
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to assess complex business needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level professionalism
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and guide conversations toward business outcomes
- High degree of autonomy, self-direction, and accountability for results
- Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Technologically proficient, with the ability to quickly learn products, services, and CRM platforms
