Kay-Twelve is pioneering education transformation by designing engaging learning environments. The Project Manager will oversee project delivery from design to implementation, ensuring projects align with the defined vision and are executed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Translate approved design and scope into detailed execution plans
- Ensure all project inputs are complete, accurate, and ready for downstream processes (quoting, ordering and installation)
- Build and manage project workplans, schedules, and milestones
- Coordinate internal and external teams to deliver on project outcomes
- Preserve design intent and learning outcomes throughout execution
- Serve as the operational face of Kay-Twelve during execution
- Lead proactive communication with clients and stakeholders
- Guide decision-making with clarity and confidence
- Align all stakeholders to a single execution plan, including: Learning Space Integrators (LSIs), Senior Project Managers, Designers, Procurement & Installation Teams, Vendors and Consultants
- Partner with Senior Project Manager to ensure execution aligns with original vision and guiding principles
- Lead internal alignment meetings and reporting
- Own development and accuracy of project quotes, budgets, and pricing alignment
- Translate scope into detailed purchase orders and procurement plans
- Ensure all products and services are accurately specified, ordered, and delivered
- Ensure accuracy of scope, pricing, and procurement alignment
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
- Proactively manage change orders, contingencies, and scope shifts
- Protect both project margins and client outcomes
- Own the full quoting, ordering, and procurement lifecycle
- Ensure all required information is complete and ready for processing before submission
- Coordinate with Project Quality Facilitator (PQF), vendors, and internal teams to move orders efficiently
- Track and manage order status, delivery timelines, and installation readiness
- Proactively resolve delays or gaps before they impact the project
- Identify and mitigate risks early (schedule, financial, operational)
- Solve problems quickly and professionally
- Escalate with solutions, not just problems
- Lead and support cross-functional project teams
- Provide direction, accountability, and support to ensure team members deliver on commitments
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing environment
Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years managing complex furniture projects in: Educational Planning, Architecture, Construction, Facilities Planning, Learning Environment Design
- Demonstrated ownership of multi-stakeholder project delivery
- Demonstrated experience managing procurement, vendor coordination, and order execution with complex projects
- Experience translating conceptual vision into executed environments
- Proven ability to manage timelines, budgets and stakeholders simultaneously
- College Degree, or work experience equivalent is required
- Project management accreditation a plus, PMP certification
- ALEP - Accredited Learning Environments Planner (A4LE)
- EdSpaces ECLPS / Eclipse Certification
- PMP Or equivalent project leadership training
