Really Great Reading is an EdTech company focused on enhancing educational experiences. The Business Systems Analyst will take ownership of complex, cross-system business problems, ensuring that systems work cohesively across finance, sales, customer operations, and IT.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand workflows, challenges, and opportunities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
- Develop clear current-state and future-state process flows grounded in real-world operations
- Help stakeholders clarify needs, align priorities, and make informed decisions
- Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies in workflows and system usage
- Own the improvement and business value of: NetSuite (finance operations, billing, order-to-cash)
- HubSpot (CRM, sales and marketing workflows)
- DealHub (quoting)
- ECommerce platforms (Drupal preferred; not required)
- Create and maintain process documentation
- Prepare teams for new or updated workflows by translating system changes into clear, practical guidance
- Gather feedback and identify post-launch improvements
- Help teams feel confident navigating change rather than overwhelmed
Requirements:
- Approximately 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting internal business systems
- Proven experience owning ambiguous, cross-functional business problems end-to-end
- Strong experience with ERP, CRM, and/or eCommerce platforms (NetSuite and HubSpot preferred)
- Strong process mapping and documentation skills
- Experience defining and driving system adoption, workflow changes, or operational enablement
- Clear, structured communicator comfortable with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in SaaS or EdTech environments
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and eCommerce ecosystems
- Exposure to compliance-conscious environments such as SOC 2
- Experience supporting post-implementation optimization or continuous improvement
