vCluster is a venture-backed tech startup striving to be the leading force in enabling platform engineers. The Technical Product Marketing Manager will build the technical marketing engine and create high-impact technical assets while collaborating with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to drive the company's go-to-market strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first dedicated technical marketer, owning the transition from reactive technical content to a scalable, world-class technical marketing engine
- Define how complex distributed systems are communicated to both practitioners and executive buyers — and build the playbook that scales with the company
- Develop high-impact technical assets including architecture guides, white papers, solution briefs, deep-dive blogs, competitive positioning materials, and technical FAQs
- Build hands-on demos, workshops, and proof-of-value environments that speak the language of platform engineers
- Create and maintain demo environments that support marketing campaigns, field enablement, events, and webinars
- Produce technical video walkthroughs, tutorials, and deep-dive sessions that clearly articulate vCluster’s differentiation in real-world use cases, including GPU-intensive AI workloads
- Partner deeply with Solutions Engineers and Technical Account Managers to identify technical friction points, competitive threats, and deal blockers
- Translate these 'boots on the ground' insights into battle cards, demo scripts, sales plays, and enablement materials that accelerate pipeline and unblock high-value opportunities
- Support demand generation and nurture campaigns with technically credible content that drives inbound engagement and pipeline velocity
- Sharpen our technical edge against legacy multi-tenancy architectures and alternative Kubernetes approaches
- Represent vCluster in webinars, technical events, and community forums
- Occasionally join strategic prospect conversations as a subject matter expert to gather direct market feedback and influence positioning
- Report to the Product Marketing Leader while maintaining a tight feedback loop with Product and Engineering to ensure innovation translates clearly into market value — and market signals meaningfully influence roadmap decisions
Requirements:
- 5+ years in Technical Product Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Professional Services, or Product Management within the cloud-native ecosystem
- Deeply K8s-native, with hands-on experience across multi-tenancy, cluster architecture, networking, RBAC, security, GitOps workflows, platform engineering practices, and Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs)
- Ability to confidently hold your own in architecture-level discussions with senior infrastructure leaders
- Thrive in high-growth, Series B environments
- Proven ability to distill complex distributed systems and multi-tenant Kubernetes concepts into compelling technical narratives that resonate with practitioners and support executive-level decision-making
- Natural partner to Sales, Customer Engineering, and Product teams
- Measure success by how much more effective the field becomes because of your work
- Experience with GPU slicing, NVIDIA integrations, or infrastructure requirements for large-scale AI/ML workloads
- A background in Solutions Engineering or Solutions Architecture, with a deep understanding of what it takes to win a POC
- Experience working with emerging GPU cloud providers or next-generation cloud infrastructure ecosystems
- Active contribution to the Kubernetes community, frequent speaking engagements at KubeCon, or recognition as a trusted voice in the Platform Engineering space
