Revolution Technologies is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for their iOS mobile application. This role is critical in shaping and delivering new app features and enhancements by translating business needs and user goals into actionable requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to define and deliver new iOS app features and enhancements
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and user requirements using clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
- Translate complex business needs into mobile-friendly solutions, accounting for iOS platform capabilities and constraints
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure requirements support intuitive, user-centered experiences
- Work closely with iOS engineers to clarify requirements, answer questions, and support solution design decisions
- Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and feature prioritization activities
- Evaluate existing app functionality and recommend improvements to usability, workflows, and performance
- Assist with testing and validation by reviewing test cases, supporting QA and UAT, and ensuring delivered features meet business expectations
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear status updates, trade-off discussions, and solution recommendations
- Maintain thorough, organized documentation throughout the feature lifecycle
Requirements:
- Strong ability to translate business needs into functional mobile app requirements
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
- Solid understanding of mobile app development concepts, particularly iOS (e.g., app lifecycle, integrations, APIs, platform limitations)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple features or initiatives simultaneously and work independently
- Comfortable operating in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience supporting consumer-facing or internal mobile applications
- Familiarity with UX principles and mobile design patterns
- Experience working directly with iOS development teams
- Exposure to tools such as Azure DevOps, Figma, or similar product and documentation tools
