Equum Medical is an innovative leader in the healthcare technology industry, dedicated to transforming how patients access critical medical services. The Provider Operations/Business Analyst role focuses on supporting operational, technical, and administrative needs of a physician service line, ensuring efficient integration of providers into the telehealth ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for physicians and providers, including setup and training on telehealth platforms, audiovisual (AV) systems, EMR, and communication tools
- Serve as a liaison between clinical teams, IT, and operations to ensure seamless system access and functionality
- Support physician scheduling processes and assist with staffing models and forecasting to meet service demand
- Monitor provider utilization and contribute to workforce planning efforts
- Develop and maintain client-facing productivity and performance reports for executive review
- Perform data modeling and advanced analytical assessments to support business decision-making
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend system or process improvements
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, documentation requirements, and system usage protocols
- Present clear and concise analytical findings to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights
- Develop, maintain, and evaluate demand and supply models to forecast trends and optimize planning strategies
Requirements:
- Experience in healthcare operations, telehealth, or clinical systems- EMR familiarity strongly preferred
- Experience with analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to perform data modeling and quantitative analysis and effectively present analytical results to stakeholders
- Experience developing and analyzing demand and supply models to support forecasting and planning decisions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, information systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
