Zomedica is a company focused on empowering veterinary professionals with innovative solutions in the animal health industry. They are seeking a Sales Account Manager to build long-term relationships with customers and grow account revenue through comprehensive product offerings in diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Building long-term relationships with customers
- Growing account revenue through comprehensive and complementary product offerings
- Selling innovative diagnostic, therapeutic, monitoring, and imaging technologies
- Collaborating with regional Area Sales Director, Professional Services Veterinarian, Capital Equipment Specialist, and Inside Sales Representative
- Utilizing a robust marketing engine to deliver leads and increase brand awareness
- Working effectively in a collaborative sales environment
- Traveling to all call points within an assigned territory
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience
- 3+ years of relevant sales experience that translates well to the sale of capital equipment / medical device in the animal health industry
- Strong closing skills, with a proven track record of sales (ideally capital sales) and customer service excellence
- Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a collaborative sales environment
- Ability to travel to all call points within an assigned territory
- Strong computer skills, with experience utilizing a CRM management database; salesforce.com preferred
