Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity
As Ally CFO group continues to build out the infrastructure to support critical data and reporting initiatives, we are looking for a talented Analyst to help drive the data strategy and successful execution and management of the finance data warehouse, an established centralized data platform serving as a single source of truth for all finance data. This position will play a key role in centralizing, modernizing, and automating Finance data pipelines and analytics. The ideal candidate will have proven data management skills, prior finance experience, an ability to juggle competing priorities in a dynamic environment, and a passion for driving organizational value through data.
The Work Itself
- Responsible for supporting data analysis, management, and reporting activities for the centralized finance data warehouse using Ally's Enterprise Data & Analytics and governance standards
- Serve as a key liaison between the finance process teams and technologies on understanding, interpretation and documentation of business data needs
- Support Finance Product Owners with data analysis, requirements, validation, epic / story development, status reporting and other tasks through ideation, execution, testing, and production support
- Guide finance data solutions, across data ingestion, consumption, analytics enablement, and sound data management controls
- Support the planning and delivery of the CFO Group’s data driven transformation, and the implementation of strategic finance data and reporting solutions
The Skills You Bring
Minimum Qualifications- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field(s) of study or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications- 1+ years of data, business analysis, or related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Information Science or similar background
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills
- Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Foundational programming experience in SQL and data warehouse platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Oracle) or reporting experience (Power BI, DAX, Importing Excel, etc)
- Foundational knowledge of key finance, accounting, and treasury processes (e.g., financial close and consolidation; financial planning and forecasting; financial management and regulatory reporting; treasury operations and cash management; asset and liability management; capital markets)

Base Pay Range: $65000 - $115000 USDAn individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
