TechMind RPO is seeking a highly skilled Pressure Sensitive (PS) Application Engineer to support customers and internal teams with technical expertise related to label application and packaging solutions. This role involves troubleshooting application issues, providing customer-facing technical support, and collaborating with sales teams to recommend suitable label construction methods.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers regarding pressure sensitive label applications and packaging solutions
- Troubleshoot labeling and application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with sales teams to recommend the most suitable label construction and application methods
- Support multiple labeling technologies including: Pressure Sensitive (PS), Shrink Sleeve, Stretch Sleeve, In-Mold Labels (IML)
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, manufacturing, and internal teams
- Conduct customer visits for on-site troubleshooting, testing, and process optimization
- Develop and deliver technical training for customers and internal stakeholders
- Assist in product development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Document technical findings, solutions, and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience
- 5–10 years of experience in: Labeling / Packaging industry
- Application engineering / technical service
- Strong knowledge of: Pressure Sensitive Labels (PS), Label application systems and equipment
- Proven experience in: Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Customer-facing technical support
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel as required (customer sites)
- Experience with shrink sleeve, stretch sleeve, or in-mold labeling (IML)
- Background in converting, packaging, or consumer goods manufacturing
- Familiarity with label materials, adhesives, and application processes
- Experience working with global customers or cross-functional teams
