User Experience Designer

Jack is building the infrastructure layer for modern hiring, helping job seekers and hiring teams streamline the hiring process. They are seeking a UX Design Intern to shape user experiences across their platform, focusing on creating intuitive designs that enhance the hiring workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end user experiences across the Jack platform (job seeker + hiring team sides)
• Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs for new features
• Improve onboarding, application tracking, and hiring workflows
• Help simplify complex systems (applications, candidate ranking, filtering) into intuitive UX
• Collaborate with product and engineering to bring designs to life
• Conduct lightweight user research and usability testing
• Iterate quickly based on feedback, data, and real user behavior
• Contribute to design systems and UI consistency across the product

Requirements:

• Strong portfolio showcasing UX thinking (not just visuals)
• Ability to think in systems, flows, and user journeys
• Comfortable designing for complex products (multi-step workflows, dashboards, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Experience with tools like Figma (or similar)
• Interest in startups, AI, or the future of work
