Finance Analyst, People Operations

Google is a leading technology company seeking a Finance Analyst in their People Operations department. The role focuses on ensuring sound financial decisions through financial modeling, performance tracking, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management.

Responsibilities:

• Build business cases for key initiatives and provide an independent perspective on the relative merit of each initiative
• Advocate allocation of resources to the best ROI use case and in support of advancing Google's goals on people operations core initiatives
• Support Core FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, variance analytics and reporting
• Collaborate with the Data and Analytics team to incorporate tools and technology in core FP&A activities
• Partner with other finance teams to ensure Google’s accounting, compliance and other financial requirements are supported
• Manage ad-hoc analysis/inquiries with a focus on improved spend management and value creation through durable cost savings
• Focus on process improvement and opportunities for extended workforce business processes to the finance hub
• Leverage centralized AI tools to enhance analytical precision and deliver high-impact, data driven insights
