Ecolab is a leader in water treatment solutions, and they are seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform equipment commissioning and provide customer training. The role involves extensive travel to customer sites for maintenance and troubleshooting, along with remote support and collaboration with engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer site to perform equipment commissioning, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), on-site preventative maintenance, on-site equipment troubleshooting and repair, and training for domestic and international customers
- Provide feedback to engineering, project management, and manufacturing on lessons learned
- Maintain detailed field service trip reports
- Work with engineering for drawing and software updates based on field service work performed or future trips
- Coordinate with customers on the procurement of spare parts and field upgrades
- Provide after-market technical and sales support
Requirements:
- BS in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
- 3 to 5 years relevant work experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Familiarity with industrial process equipment
- Working experience with AutoCAD, and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
